Check for Leaks

Monthly check the under-the-sink plumbing for leaks.

A water leak from the your plumbing usually starts as a small drip.  It starts small but the damage it will do can be significant and will cost you more than a drip-drip-drip of money.

Do your toilets seem to be constantly running or “burp” occasionally? If you find a toilet is running constantly, it’s going to cost you money – lots of it. A small to moderate leak can be as much as 6,000 gallons per month.  That will cost you $50-$70 or even more a month. That’s literally money down your drain. Just Google it, it’s expensive.

Here’s how to easily fix that constantly-running toilet. For approximately $20-$25 in quality parts and materials you, yes you, can repair it.  Stop off at that big box store or the local hardware store (where they really can explain and assist you) and buy a decent toilet repair kit. Read the instructions. Grab small bucket, a pair of channel lock pliers and an old towel. Oh, and shut the water off at the wall outlet first.

You can do this or you can telephone me, it’s your call.
